Jamie is the queen of absolute. With her contagious energy as a driving force, she has a reputation for making the entire planning process seamless, stress-free, and dare-we-say fun. Jamie has over 20 years of experience in the industry. There is no one better to plan an event that will leave them talking...

Fun Facts:

  • Prior to founding absolute, Jamie served as the on-site event planner at two of Miami’s hottest hotel destinations.

  • She’s a night owl and an early bird….so she’s always there!

  • She has a Degree in Event Management from the University of Florida {Go Gators!}

  • Jamie is only truly fulfilled when she is surrounded by family and friends, many of whom are past absolute clients!

  • Born and raised in South Florida, Jamie knows this place like the back of her hand. She leaves her absolute mark wherever she goes. It’s only fitting that her passion for travel and skillset has made Jamie an in-demand destination wedding planner for celebrations worldwide.

  • Two things she brings with her to every event. . .her heart and soul.

  • Jamie and her husband Alex have two perfect little girls- River and Monroe, and the king of absolute himself, a ridgeback mix named George.

DEVIN RODRIGUEZ

The absolute Swiss Army Knife

Meet Jamie's right hand, organizer, and head of chaos prevention and coordination. Devin joined the absolute team 7 years ago and has never looked back. With 15 years of experience in the wedding and event planning industry, She is obsessed with creative event design and will be as enthusiastic about every single detail of your day as she was at her very first wedding. If it needs to be done, chances are Devin can do it.

Fun Facts:

  • She holds a degree in Events & Hospitality from Florida State University {Go Noles!} and also a background in interior design.

  • She gets an extreme amount of joy creating mood boards and pulling all of your Pinterest photos together to help present a design that will knock your socks off.

  • She thrives when surrounded by the people she loves and loves connecting them to intertwine her worlds.

  • She is the queen of organizing all things absolute. Need a photo of a bouquet from a wedding that took place 7 years ago at The Boca Raton? No problem. You’ll have it in 30 seconds.

  • Devin has three perfectly chaotic and adorable kids (Jameson, Sadie & Van), two dogs (a chocolate lab named Maggie and a golden retriever named Peter Barker), and one husband (a cuban named David).

EMILY RODRIGUEZ

Social {MEDIA} Butterfly

Emily joins our team with extensive experience building luxury brands on social media platforms. She has spent plenty of time being involved in weddings- everything from floral design to cake decorating, her resume is stacked. She is a Philly native and made the move to South Florida to study at Palm Beach Atlantic University and never left! She loves helping events come to life through beautifully captured behind-the-scenes moments.

Fun Facts:

  • She has traveled to 30 countries- her favorite was Cambodia- and has a goal to make it to 100.

  • She can name nearly every fish on a coral reef.

  • She once got a spontaneous tattoo in a back alley in Thailand.

  • Emily thinks tea is better than coffee (but we still love her).

  • She is a licensed esthetician and has spent time as a professional organizer.

  • Emily and her husband, Trenton, have a sweet little girl named Elodie and a tiny pup named Pip.
