When I first met Savannah and Carey, I knew instantly I was going to love being a part of their special day. An adorably fun couple… a unique and exclusive location that was made available to this couple and this couple only, because of who they are… a family and friends who made planning so enjoyable– everything about this wedding was an absolute dream!

First I have to talk about this bride and groom. We have cemented our love and we will be together forever as best friends, right Savannah?! They are the most fun, down-to-earth people and from day one we had built a trust and a friendship. I also love their “how we met” story. Both avid “yachties,” they met while working aboard a yacht where he served as captain. They fell in love while traveling the world and wanted a wedding that reflected their love for adventure, the water, and of course, each other. Cue in absolute…

Now let’s discuss their wedding venue. Villa Vecchia, located “at the intersection of Miami and Paradise,” is a magnificent 18,000-plus-square-foot gated compound that has hosted more dignitaries than any other home in Miami. This stunning estate features breathtaking views of the water (perfect for this “sea-life” loving couple). For this one night only – and only for this incredibly special couple – the doors of this majestic, sprawling, completely one-of-a-kind venue were opened with and for love. It’s a place that you need to see to believe. Maintaining this property is a full-time, 24/7, job (No joke, it took me like 30 minutes to walk from one side of the lawn to the other! Think at least two NFL football fields long.) They were gifted the opportunity to have their wedding there, and what a gift it was! The guests were brought to the location via a boat, of course. They married at the edge of the intercoastal by a dear family friend. They cocktailed around the Olympic size pool. They dined within the historical and charming architecture of the home’s courtyard. And they partied the night away in the home’s very own ballroom. The exclusive, ultra romantic venue, with water views at every angle, was the perfect setting for Savannah and Carey’s exquisite wedding.

I am so in love with these two, and so honored that they chose me as their planner. They are the most gracious and caring and respectable two people I may have ever met. They spent way too much time throughout the night worrying about the vendors and making sure we ate. So much so, that they insisted I come sit at their sweetheart table with them! I was tempted. I remember watching them at their wedding and thinking how perfect it is when the right two people find each other
